Collecting data, and the data itself, is nowadays considered as the most valuable asset for entities. How to collect data, in a way that is not delaying operations in early stages but yet not trapping a company once it scales up, is a topic that by-design, important for almost any new startup worldwide. This lecture will provide a deeper understanding, and will allow the audience to interact by sharing their opinions, ideas, questions and experiences with regard to collection of data – including personal data of users. The concept “by-design” is a fundamental principle under various privacy laws, including the GDPR (the main privacy regulations for the European Union), and is worth discussing at any stage, including the very beginning of a company.
